Description

No. 10 North Street is a house and shop that likely dates from the early 18th century, although it features an early 19th-century facade. The building has a smooth rendered exterior with V-joint quoins and a concrete tile roof. It stands two storeys high and has two windows, which are 16-pane sashes with stooled cills. The large 19th-century tripartite bow shop front includes a fascia on the left, a late 20th-century glazed door in the centre, and another 16-pane sash on the right. To the right of the shop front, there is a throughway that cuts into the adjoining property, featuring a 19th-century plank door next to the quoin stones.
