Description

No. 39 High Street is a house and shop dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century. The building features brick walls and a tiled roof, rising to two storeys and an attic with one window. There is a flat-roofed 20th-century dormer, and on the first floor, there is a bow window with three sashes, adorned with a modillion cornice, reeded architrave, and a boarded apron. The shopfront includes a dentilled cornice, a cambered window-head, and thin corner pillars, along with a glazed door. A side passageway leads to a plain door.
