Description
No. 13 Fore Street is a house and shop that dates from the early 19th century, with 20th-century alterations for the shop. The building is made of rendered stone rubble and features a slate roof with gable ends and brick stacks at the gable ends. It has a double depth plan, which likely originally included a central entrance with principal rooms on the front right and left; however, the ground floor is now used as a shop. The building is three storeys high and has three windows. The ground floor features a 20th-century plate-glass shop front with double doors to the left and a fascia above. The first floor has a central two-light casement window, along with a 12-pane sash window flanked by sidelights on both sides. The second floor has a central 12-pane sash window and a 9-pane sash window with sidelights on the right and left. The interior has not been inspected.
