Description

15 Fore Street is a house and shop that likely dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It was refronted in the mid-19th century and has had some alterations in the 20th century. The building is constructed of rendered stone rubble, and the first floor may have a plastered timber frame. It features a slate roof with gable ends and no stacks on the front range.

The central entrance leads to a principal room on either side, which is currently used as a shop. The building has two storeys and two windows; the ground floor includes a plate-glass shop window on the left and right, with a central recessed entrance that has a half-glazed door. The first floor has two 4-pane sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
