Description

No. 11 North Street is a house and shop that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It features smooth rendering on timber framing and has a Welsh slate roof with a steep pitch that slightly sweeps to the eaves, along with a stack on the left side. The building has two storeys and is one window wide. It displays a square three-light oriel window on brackets above a 19th-century shop front, which includes stone cheeks and a stall riser, as well as a continuous fascia. It is likely that the building was originally constructed with a jettied upper level.
