Description

Kenulf Gallery is a house and shop that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It is constructed with rendered timber framing and features scalloped parget decoration around the windows and quoins at the right end. The building has a Welsh slate roof and stands two storeys high with a basement. The façade has one window, which is a three-light casement above two 19th-century bow windows with glazing bars, all set over a stone stall riser. There is a central flush panelled door. The structure was likely originally jettied and includes some stone walling and heavy timber framing inside. At the time of the survey, it was part of the Kenulf Gallery, located at No 1 North Street.
