Description

No. 13 Long Street is a dwelling and shop that dates back to the 17th century, with a 19th-century front. The building features rough render on a timber frame and a stone slate roof with a small modillion cornice. It has an L-shaped plan and two brick stacks. The structure is two storeys high and has three wide-spaced windows that are sashes without glazing bars, set flush with the wall. The late 19th-century shop front consists of three bays and includes two doors with a sloping fascia. To the right, there is an oak door with a Tudor arch in a newly moulded frame, made of wide planks with nail-heads and long strap hinges, and it has two plain glass lights above.
