No. 17 Church Road is a house and shop dating from the 17th century. It has a timber frame that is rendered and channelled, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building features a three-bay lobby entry plan and stands two storeys high with a hipped roof, which has a large chimney stack positioned to the centre right. On the first floor, there are three metal casements, while the ground floor showcases plate glass shop windows and a door beneath a fascia hood supported by brackets. Additionally, there is one wooden casement to the right and a boarded door located to the centre right.
