Description

No. 9 Church Road is a house dating from the 16th century. It is timber framed and clad with weather-boarding, featuring exposed close-studding on the rear elevation. The roof is plain tiled and the building has two storeys and an attic, which includes one flat-roofed dormer and a large clustered stack at the centre. There is one glazing bar sash window on each floor, along with a panelled door and a wooden casement window to the right. To the right, there is a two-storey extension from the 20th century. The facade is partly obscured by the later building to the left.
