Description
No. 6 Cherry Gardens Lane is a house dating from the 16th century, with early 19th-century cladding. It has a timber frame that is covered with painted brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building follows a lobby entry plan and stands two storeys high on a plinth. The roof is hipped with gablets and has an impressive central cluster of moulded stacks. There are two margin light sash windows on each floor, along with a smaller central margin light sash window on the first floor. The ground floor has a central panelled door topped with a flat hood supported by brackets. To the left side, there is a canted bay window, a garage outshot, and a chimney located on the rear left wing.
