Description

No. 2 Gloucester Street is a house and shop that dates from the 17th century, with a shop front and window features added in the 19th century. The building is constructed from rendered limestone rubble and has a stone slate mansard roof. It has a double-depth plan, is two storeys tall with an attic, and features a one-window range. The exterior includes a boxed cornice, while the shop front has timber jambs, consoles, and a fascia, along with a recessed doorway on the right and a plate-glass window. The first floor has triple casement windows with glazing bars, and there is a similar dormer window in exposed frames. The interior has not been inspected.
