Description

This barn, dating from the 19th century, is located about 15 metres to the west of Wirewoods Green Manor in Tutshill. It is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The barn is a five-bay Queen-post structure, with a deep porch at the back that has a King-post roof. There are ventilation slots, with two at each of two levels on either side of a full-height central door, and additional slots at the upper level on the back. The gables also have two pairs of ventilation slots and square loading doors positioned above. At the front, there is a fixed sash window and a weatherboarded panel beneath a segmental head, which is adorned with voussoirs above a flat extrados.
