Description

Milestone dated 1898, made of cast iron. It has a triangular shape with an angled top. The top is inscribed with "Ditchford Hill." The north side features the inscriptions "Moreton/3 miles/Stow/7," accompanied by a pointing hand and an illegible maker's name, possibly from Ebley. The south face has an inscription below a pointing hand that reads "Shipston/3¾ miles/Stratford 13/County of/Worcester/1898," noting that Blockley was previously in Worcestershire.
