Description
The Manor House is a house that likely originated as the rear range of Stretton House, dating from the 17th century and raised in the 19th century. It is built of squared, coursed limestone with quoins and features a coped gable on the left side. The roof is covered with concrete tiles and has ashlar ridge stacks, each with a moulded base and two flues connected by a moulded cornice. The house has two storeys and a five-window range.
On the center right, there is a six-panelled door with a flat hood supported by consoles. To the right of the door, there is a canted bay. In the center, there is a double chamfered stone window with a hood mould. Immediately to the right of the door, there is a single chamfered light. The remaining openings have 20th-century casements.
Attached to the left is a late 18th-century wall that is approximately 20 meters long and 2 meters high, featuring stone coping. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest. The building is included for its group value.
