Description

GUITING POWER THE MARKET SQUARE SP 0924 (north side) 11/93 No. 4 right of Post Office, (formerly listed as cottage 40yds north-west of Post Office) 25.8.60 Guiting Power Amenity Trust GV II House in row. Late C17-mid C18. Large blocks of coursed squared and dressed limestone with patches of rebuilding in smaller stone, limestone slate roof with limestone stack. Rectangular lobby entry plan with access passage to rear on right. 2-storeys with original half dormer on left and rebuilt half dormer on right. 2- windowed; original stone-mullioned window to left dormer with stopped hood. Others 2 and 3-light, C19 stone-mullioned windows with horizontal glazing bars. Central plank door with thumb latch in flat-chamfered surround. Central stack. Interior not inspected.
