Description
Raymar is a house from the 18th century, located in a row of buildings on Guiting Power Well Lane. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone and features a limestone slate roof with limestone coping. The main body of the house has a rectangular plan, with a single-storey outshut at the front and a rear extension that is not of special interest.
The house has two storeys and an attic, which are lit by two 2-light metal casement windows. The first floor has two and three-light stone-mullioned metal casements, with one light in the upper right-hand window containing some original glass. There is a 3-light stone surround where a former stone-mullioned window has been altered to include a 3-light casement inserted in the lower left. The central door is glazed and has a plain flat-chamfered surround. The roof is steeply pitched and features gabled doors. The interior has not been inspected.
