Description
The building is a school constructed in 1872, funded by John Waddingham of Guiting Grange. It features rock-faced limestone on an ashlar plinth, with ashlar quoins and window surrounds. The school has a slate roof, complete with an ashlar chimney and a bell surround. The main body of the building is rectangular, with a slightly set-back extension on the right side. It is a single-storey structure with three pairs of round-headed windows; the left pair has only horizontal glazing bars. The bell surround is located at the far gable end. The eaves cornice is moulded in stone and wood, with moulded wood and stone brackets at the gable ends. A stone eaves cornice extends across the gable end as a string. The interior has not been inspected.
