Description
Civic Trust House, part of the Guiting Power Amenity Trust, is a detached house dating from the 19th century, which has been significantly altered in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a limestone slate roof and features limestone stacks. The building has a rectangular plan and a symmetrical facade, standing two storeys high with two windows. The windows are 20th-century sixteen-pane sashes. Above the central plank door, there is a bull's-eye window, which is complemented by a curving metal canopy. The house is situated in a prominent position within Market Square. The interior has not been inspected.
