Description
Rose Cottage is a detached cottage located in Guiting Power, dating from the late 17th to 18th century. It is built of coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a limestone slate roof and features limestone stacks. The cottage has a rectangular plan with a continuous outshut at the rear and a symmetrical facade. The front has two windows, which include 2 and 3-light double chamfered stone-mullioned casements with leaded panes and stopped hoods that extend over the central plank door, which is set in a moulded surround and has a thumb latch. The cottage also has gable end stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
