Description

Greystones is a detached cottage dating from the late 17th century. It is built of coursed dressed limestone and features a thatched roof with gable end ashlar and brick stacks. The cottage has a gable end facing the road and is two stories high with a two-window front. There is a central 20th-century glazed door, flanked by three-light recessed chamfered mullioned windows on either side. The first floor has three 2-light mullioned windows. The right side of the building has a gable facing the road and no windows. At the rear, there are 2-light mullioned windows on both the ground and first floors, and a late 19th-century two-storey extension to the right that includes 4-pane sash windows and a tiled roof. The interior has not been inspected.
