Cottage with attached disused forge. Circa 1700, C19 forge. Dressed limestone, corrugated iron roof, formerly thatched, gable end brick stacks. Two-storey, 2-window. Central planked door in stone chamfered case, 2-light recessed chamfered mullioned window to right and 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned window to left. First floor has 3-light and 2-light mullioned window. Roof has stone coped verges. Left return has 1-light recessed chamfered window to ground, first and attic floors. Right return has 2-light mullioned window to attic. Rear has mullioned windows, chamfered central doorcase, now within C20 extension. Interior has central through passage. Chamfered beams with stepped stops, open fireplace with chamfered lintel on stone jambs, planked doors. Forge has planked stable door to left, wooden shuttered window and double sliding doors on rollers, tiled roof with brick stack.
