Description

The barn at Chilmark House is an 18th-century structure built from dressed limestone and topped with a fishscale tiled roof. It features five bays. The south front includes double planked doors, a single recessed chamfered light to the left, a 2-light recessed chamfered-mullioned window, and a planked door in a chamfered stone case to the right, along with another planked door to the left. The rear and side walls are windowless. The east cross range has been converted into garages, now featuring 20th-century garage doors. The interior was not accessible during the survey.
