Description

GUITING POWER THE MARKET SQUARE SP 0924 (north side) 11/91 The Old Dairy GV II House in row. Possibly C16 with C19 extension. Limestone rubble with limestone slate roof, limestone stack and gable coping. Rectangular lobby entrance plan with C19 extension attached at right angles front right. Main body 2-storey, extension single storey. Main body 2-windowed; 2-light stone-mullioned window, partially covered by extension, top left; 2-light stone-mullioned window with stilted headed lights and carved spandrels; central mullion now missing and wood casement inserted; large C19 wood casement lower right; 3-light double chamfered stone-mullioned window now obscured by C19 extension left. 4-centred flat- chamfered arched doorway left. Central part glazed 6-panel door with keystone right of extension. Extension: 2-light C19 casement in gable end; 3-light C19 fixed casement with part glazed plank door in right wall. Central stack. Flat gable coping at left end with roll-cross finial.
