Description
Tudor House, located in Guiting Power's Market Square, is a house dating from the late 17th to 18th century. It has been virtually rebuilt while reusing the original stone. The building is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a limestone slate roof and features limestone stacks. It has a rectangular plan and a symmetrical facade, with two storeys and an attic. The attic is lit by two Cotswold dormers that contain two-light stone-mullioned casements with leaded panes and stopped hoods. There is also a stopped hood over the central plank door, and gable end stacks are present. The interior has not been inspected. This house occupies a prominent position in the Market Square at the center of the village.
