Description
Tudor House is a house from the early 17th century that has been altered in the 20th century. It is built of coursed squared limestone and features plain-tile roofs, with stone end and ridge stacks that have brick flues. The house is two storeys high with an attic and has a three-window range, following a three-unit plan.
A studded door is located to the right of the centre, framed by a chamfered Tudor-arched surround. The ground floor has three-light chamfered stone mullion windows, each with hood moulds, while the first floor features three-light casement windows with wooden lintels. There is a tall gabled dormer window to the right of centre, which also has a three-light casement window with a wooden lintel and hood mould. The building has quoins and ironstone-coped gables with kneelers.
Inside, the house includes stop-chamfered spine beams, two open fireplaces with chamfered bressumers, and a collar truss roof.
