Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a 18th-century cottage that has been altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a thatched roof with a brick stack at one end. The cottage is two stories high and has a two-window range with a two-unit plan. The central door, which dates from the 20th century, has a wooden lintel above it. The cottage has three-light casement windows on both the ground and first floors, each with wooden lintels. Inside, the cottage includes chamfered spine beams and an open fireplace with a chamfered bressumer.
