Description
Greenfield House is a house built in 1815, with the second floor removed in the 20th century. The building is made of ashlar stone and has a slate roof, featuring a rectangular plan and a symmetrical facade. It has two storeys and three windows, with 16-pane sash windows and one 12-pane sash window above a central fielded six-panel door. The door reveal is lined with fielded panelling and has a moulded architrave on the outer face. There is a flat-roofed stone porch with a moulded cap, supported by two free-standing and two engaged Doric columns on square plinths. The interior includes an original open string dog-leg staircase with tall thin turned balusters, although the interior has not been inspected.
