Description

This late 19th-century lamp post stands opposite number 30 Andover Road, Cheltenham. The structure is cast-iron and includes wrought-iron enrichment and an overthrow. It has been adapted for electric lighting. The post is set on a plinth of glazed brick. The main drum incorporates four bracketed buttresses alternating with quadrants. Wrought-iron leaves decorate the post at heights of 3 meters and 0.75 meters.
