Description

The lamp post located before number 46 on Castle Street is a listed structure from the late 19th century. It is made of painted cast iron and features a tapering octagonal shape with decorative bands of necking. The lamp post stands on a moulded octagonal plinth and has a quadrangular lamp with cresting. This lamp post is part of a group of listed buildings along the east side of Castle Street.
