Description
The lamp post located before number 63 on Castle Street is from the later 19th century. It features a tapering octagonal shaft made of painted cast iron, which includes bands of necking. The base is a moulded octagonal plinth, and it supports a quadrangular lamp topped with cresting. This lamp post is part of a group of listed buildings along the east side of Castle Street.
