Description

No. 63 Castle Street is a 18th-century, two-storey building constructed of brick, set on a chamfered plinth. It features a moulded wooden eaves cornice and has an old tiled roof. On the first floor, there are two segmental-headed windows with architrave frames and a central panel. The ground floor has two similar windows with flat heads, alongside a modern door set within a late 18th-century doorcase. This doorcase includes flush panelled reveals, panelled pilasters, and an entablature that breaks forward over the pilasters, topped with a pediment on the left side. All the listed buildings on the east side of Castle Street form a group.
