Description
No. 18 St Thomas Street is a building from the early to mid-18th century, standing three storeys high with a basement. It features red brick walls and has a string course between the ground and first floors. The building is topped with a moulded wood cornice. The south front has mathematical tiles and five windows. The entrance boasts a good door with a plain surround, scroll brackets, and a moulded arched pediment, although it is partially obscured by a glazed approach from the street. The windows are sash style with glazing bars set in rubbed heads. The roof is hipped and covered with old tiles. There is a 19th-century wing on the north front. All listed buildings in St Thomas Street form a group.
