Description

No. 18 on St Thomas Street is an early to mid-18th century building featuring three storeys and a basement. Its walls are made of red brick, with a string course between the ground and first floors and a moulded wood cornice. The south front has sections covered in mathematical tiles and includes five windows. The entrance boasts a good door with a plain surround, scroll brackets, and a moulded arched pediment, although it is partially obscured by a glazed approach from the street. The building has sash windows with glazing bars set in rubbed heads and is topped with a hipped old tile roof. There is a 19th-century wing on the north front.
