Description
Nos 19A, 19B, and 19C on St Thomas Street are late 18th-century buildings that were restored in 1972. Originally built as stables opposite No 9, they have been adapted into modern houses. The buildings have a U-shaped plan with gable ends facing the road, featuring a pediment with an arch motif that has been filled in. There is a smaller central pedimented arched entrance to the yard in a screen wall. The walls are made of brick, topped with an old tile roof. Decorative features include bands and dentils in the gables, arches with keystones and impost blocks, and panelled doors with plain Tuscan surrounds. The buildings are two stories tall and have undergone significant modernization. All the listed buildings on St Thomas Street are part of a group.
