Description
17-20 Queen Street are four houses built around 1835, with 20th-century restoration. They are constructed of brick and have a pantiled roof. The houses are two storeys high, each consisting of one bay, with an additional window located above the passageway between Nos 19 and 20. All houses, except No. 20, feature doorways on the right side. The windows are glazing bar sashes, and the doors have six raised and fielded panels. These doors are framed by doorcases that include moulded pilasters, panelled friezes, and cornices supported by console brackets. The passageway between Nos 19 and 20 has a boarded door beneath a semicircular head, with an iron grille above that resembles a blind fanlight. There are chimneys located to the left and right of No. 17 and to the right of No. 18. The interior has not been inspected. No. 17 is being listed for the first time.
