Description
23 St Thomas Street dates from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is a two-storey building with an attic, and comprises a central five-window section with sash windows containing glazing bars, flanked by irregular side wings. The walls are of red brick, topped by a parapet and a hipped roof covered in old tiles. The central doorway has a plain architrave surround, scroll brackets, and a flat cornice, leading to a panelled door. There are three dormers in the roof. A garage was inserted into the right-hand wing in 1972. The listed buildings along St Thomas Street are considered to form a group.
