Description

No. 37 Eastgate is a building from the 18th century, possibly with an earlier core. It is two storeys high, constructed of brick, and has a pantile roof with two brick chimneys. The building features a diagonal brick eaves cornice. There are three windows with moulded frames, including some hung sashes with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two segmental-arched windows. The entrance has a segmental-headed doorway with a rectangular fanlight and a door made up of six fielded panels. A foot scraper is also present.
