Description

The lamp-post located before number 15 on Castle Street is a listed structure from the late 19th century. It features a tapering octagonal shaft made of painted cast iron, adorned with bands of necking. The base is a moulded octagonal plinth, and it supports a quadrangular lamp with cresting. This lamp-post is part of a group of listed buildings that includes numbers 1 to 9 Lowndes Buildings on the west side of Castle Street.
