Description

The lamp post located before number 77 on Castle Street is a listed structure from the late 19th century. It features a tapering octagonal shaft made of painted cast iron, with bands of necking. The base is a moulded octagonal plinth, and it supports a quadrangular lamp that is adorned with cresting. This lamp post is part of a group of listed buildings along the east side of Castle Street.
