Description

The lamp post located before number 71 on Castle Street is a listed structure from the later 19th century. It features a tapering octagonal shaft made of painted cast iron, adorned with bands of necking. The base consists of a moulded octagonal plinth, supporting a quadrangular lamp that is topped with cresting. This lamp post is part of a group of listed buildings along the east side of Castle Street.
