Description

Nos 34 and 35 on Castle Street are early 19th-century buildings that stand two stories tall with an attic and a cellar. They are constructed of red brick and topped with a slate roof. The front features two dormers with small sash windows, along with two windows and two six-panel doors positioned in the outer corners. These doors are set in panelled reveals and are framed by pilasters and an entablature that is broken forward over the pilasters, culminating in a pediment. Additionally, there are two cellar windows. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 9 (consecutive) Lowndes Buildings on the west side of Castle Street.
