Villa and attached forecourt railings. c1820-50. Stucco over brick with concealed roof, tall right end and ridge brick stacks with cornices; iron railings. Stucco detailing includes horizontal rustication to ground floor with voussoirs over windows; first-floor band; crowning frieze and architrave with cornice at left, low parapet and copings. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 7 first-floor windows arranged 1:3:3, with left angle splayed, then a canted full-height bay; range at right breaks forward. 2/2 sashes throughout with sills and in reveals. 2 entrances to left return: C20 glazed door and glazed doors with overlight. Left return has 4+3 first-floor windows. Horizontal rustication to ground floor and incised voussoirs over windows. First-floor band. 2/2 horizontal-pane sashes, one to angle, 3 to canted bay, then three. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: arrowhead forecourt railings at right (otherwise renewed). Forms a good group with No.1 and Nos 5 and 7 (qqv).
