Description
No. 144 Higher Slerra is a house that is part of a row, likely built in the early 19th century. The building has a rendered and whitewashed exterior over a rubble core and features a slate roof divided into two sections: a gabled section on the right and a lower hipped section on the left. There are axial and gable end stacks that are also rendered.
The layout includes a central entrance hall with a small room on each side, both heated by an end axial stack. To the left, there is an addition that appears to be a single large room. The house is two storeys high with a symmetrical facade of two windows on each side. The main part on the right has two small 12-pane casements with two lights, while the left section has similar but larger casements. The entrance is located in the center of the right two bays, featuring a plank door and a projecting lean-to porch with a slate roof. The interior has not been inspected.
