Description

This building, located on the west side of High Street, dates back to 1633 and is currently occupied by "Peter Marsh" and "Burgoynes." The structure features an early 19th-century stuccoed facade, likely covering an earlier building. It has two storeys with a parapet that has coping. The steeply pitched gable end slate roof is topped with a tall capped brick stack and includes a partially concealed dormer.

On the first floor, there are three recessed sash windows without glazing bars. The ground floor features small paired mid-19th-century shop fronts, which are flanked by thin panelled pilasters and include two plate glass windows. The entrance is centrally located, and there is a fascia board with an end cornice above the shop fronts.

This building is part of a group that includes premises occupied by Potbury and Sons Ltd and LadySmith House Antiques.
