Description

This building, dating from circa 1800 and altered subsequently, is a three-storey structure with a stucco facade. It has a low-pitched gable end slate roof and a shallow eaves cornice. The second floor originally had two windows with wide sash windows, each containing four panes arranged in a 4x4 configuration, set within flush architrave frames. The first floor now features a later 19th-century canted bay with two casement windows, each with transomed lights and plate glass to the sides; it has a frieze and moulded cornice. The ground floor has been modernised with a shop front. The property is part of a group that includes the premises formerly occupied by “French's”, “Fields” (Man's Shop), "Boots" and “Trump Stores”.
