Description
The premises occupied by Sambati, dating from around 1830, are located on the west side of Old Fore Street. This two-storey building is faced with stucco and stands on a plinth. It features a low-pitched gable end slate roof with a shallow eaves cornice and has a later dormer. On the first floor, there are two recessed tripartite sash windows with intact glazing bars, each topped with doubled keystones. The ground floor has been modernised, and a new shopfront has been fitted. The listed buildings on the west side of Old Fore Street form a group.
