Description

This early 19th-century house, now used as shops, was altered in later years. The brick construction is rendered with lined stucco, topped with a plain tile roof featuring boxed eaves and brick end-stacks.

The exterior has three storeys and a four-window front. The first floor has 8/8 sash windows with projecting sills. Smaller 4/8 sashes are located above. The ground floor is divided into three shop fronts. The shop to the left has plate glass which is inwardly splayed, with a 20th-century glazed entrance door, side pilasters and a deep corniced fascia. The central shop has two bay windows with moulded rounded glazing bars and four-centred-arched panes, flanking a recessed central entrance, all under a moulded leaded cornice. The shop to the right is a 20th-century design with plate glass and a deep fascia.

To the left, the entrance is framed by a Classical architrave with pilasters and a moulded leaded cornice, featuring a decorative fanlight, decorative reveals and a six-panel door, approached by two stone steps. A plinth is present at ground level. The interior of the building was not inspected during listing.
