Description

This house, now a restaurant and office, dates from the second half of the 18th century or the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a plain tile roof and painted brick dentilled eaves. The house is two storeys high and has a two-window front. It features boxed 8/8 sash windows with painted sills. The ground floor has been significantly altered with a full-width shop front. This includes a leaded dentilled cornice supported by two consoles, a remodelled plate-glazed bay window with moulded rounded mullions and arched lights in the center, a 20th-century glazed door with overlight to the right, and a further doorcase on the left with a renewed door and overlight. A painted moulded brick plinth is also present. The interior was not inspected.
