Description
The Pershore Working Men's Club, originally a chapel, dates back to 1847. The building is rendered with lined stucco and features a Welsh-slate roof behind a stepped parapet with a deep eaves course. It is a single-storey structure with two large 24-pane iron-framed windows that have 4-pane opening casements, hoodmoulds, and deep sills. The central entrance consists of a two-leaf door made up of six raised and fielded panels, accompanied by a 4-pane overlight and a hoodmould. There is a plinth and the date along with relief lettering is located at the center under the eaves. A 20th-century door provides access to a side passage on the right. The right return of the building is constructed of brick in both Flemish and stretcher bonds, featuring brick dentil eaves, flat arches above the iron-framed windows, and shallow brick buttresses. The interior has not been inspected.
