Description

The barn at Rendells Farm, dating from the 18th century or early 19th century, is now used as a pig shed. It features a timber frame resting on a brick sill and is weatherboarded, topped with a single roll pantiled roof. The structure consists of four bays, with a midstrey on the field side. It has jowled posts with angle braces supporting tie beam trusses, which include raking struts to the principal rafters. The roof is quarter hipped at the ends and hipped over the midstrey.
